At the close of its Dec. 2 meeting the Fort Pierce Utilities Authority director reviewed upcoming community events and internal scheduling.
Cisneros reminded members that FPUA will participate in the Fort Pierce Main Street Christmas parade (the float traditionally hosts Santa) and said participants should arrive early. He announced Dec. 7 is the last call for artists for the FPUA community art contest; selected pieces will appear in the 2026 commemorative calendar and tie into a Jan. 9 ribbon cutting for the new wastewater plant.
Cisneros also noted the next board meeting is scheduled for Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. at the Energy Services Center. Board members thanked staff for sponsorship of community programming and encouraged use of the events calendar to stay involved.
