Franklin Wilkinson of the Building Department presented the request on behalf of applicant Daulton Bess. The commission approved a zone change from Agriculture to R‑1 for a 1.32‑acre combined portion of Map 23, Parcel 54.01 & 52.02, and a zone change from Agriculture to C2 on the remaining portion of Map 23, Parcel 54.01. The minutes state the property is not in a Special Flood Hazard Area.
The motion, moved by Ann Jarreau and seconded by David Anderson, passed on a roll call vote 11 Yes, 0 No, 1 Absent. No members of the public spoke for or against the request during the advertised public hearing; the public hearing opened at 6:16 p.m. and closed at 6:17 p.m.
This action updates the county zoning map for the specified parcel and is recorded as Resolution 4 in the meeting minutes.
