The Local Agency Formation Commission approved routine financial and administrative items during its June 17 meeting.
Executive Officer Blair presented the April and May expense lists as standard monthly expenses and recommended approval; the commission approved both lists by roll call. The commission also approved a separate monthly expense list identified as number 26‑05.
Staff presented a records-disposition list identifying digitized or out-of-retention documents recommended for destruction and confirmed legal counsel reviewed exclusions (minutes, resolutions, items tied to active legal matters). The commission approved the destruction list by roll call.
Staff also reported operational issues: county procurement-card system access has changed following migration to a new accounting platform, delaying required online testing for purchasing-card renewals; Patty (clerk) was cited as affected staff. Executive Officer Blair said staff have contacted county general services and auditors and will pursue resolution.
Personnel notes: staff announced that Mana Jameson (municipal service reviews) and Rebecca Moore (records projects) will leave; the agency plans to recruit a full-time replacement and expects Moore may return for project-based work.
Why it matters: The approvals keep regular operations on track; the procurement-card access issue affects staff ability to complete required processes and may require interagency coordination to resolve.
Next steps: Staff will continue to coordinate with county services to restore procurement-card system access and will begin recruitment to fill departing staff roles.
