Council approves Forsgren master-services agreement, SCADA for new water tank and $42,000 in repairs

Mantua — The council on June 18 approved a master-services agreement with Forsgren (identified in the meeting record as the engineering firm under consideration) to provide engineering work orders for drainage, driveway standards and other small public-works projects. The town attorney reviewed contract language and council approved the agreement with redline edits and associated work-order authority.
Eric (speaker 8), representing the engineering firm during the meeting, said the work would include driveway specifications and other planning support; the town will still execute individual work orders as projects arise.
Council also approved adding SCADA monitoring capability to the new water tank project. Staff reported the tank has completed leak testing and is entering the final phase; council approved the SCADA addition and discussed a small supplemental amount (about $750) to ensure compatibility with other systems.
Separately, council approved additional point repairs on the TwinBee (repair project) and authorized payment of the outstanding $42,000 associated with those repairs. Councilors said these repairs were the previously discussed work that had not yet been fully motioned and approved.
The council additionally reviewed the vendor list for the Little Valley Days event and agreed to approve the compiled list for state submission rather than review each application individually.
