Council approved payment of an invoice from Cross Paving totaling $104,740.81. The council authorized $92,130 to come from Liquid Fuels funds and $12,610.81 from the General Fund; the motion carried unanimously. Council also approved applying $15,625 in County Aid toward Suit‑Kote’s payment for the 2024 seal coat project.
Streets Supervisor Bob Phillips reported that Cross Paving and Suit‑Kote have completed the 2024 paving projects and that Bentley Run stabilization work is complete pending topsoil and seeding. Council discussed grinding millings; Union Township will truck and grind some millings and will track usage. Council approved providing 2–3 loads of millings to the American Legion ballfield to address driveway problems; the township will grade the material if dumped at the ballfield.
Motions approving payments and millings distributions were moved and seconded by councilors and carried unanimously. No public comment on the items was recorded.
