Staff announced Gloria Gutierz submitted her retirement as a finance analyst effective Feb. 27, 2026, and requested additional weekly hours (6—10) and expanded spring-break coverage (up to 35—40 hours) for Susana Leon to support the finance office and library during the staffing transition. The board also received a spring intersession staffing overview (March 16—19, four days at five hours per day) with typical intersession enrollment noted at 70—80 students.
Board members requested the booster club be added to the April agenda to present potential grants and accessibility improvements for the football field/track. Staff said the Wednesday meeting agenda will include salary-schedule changes and adding para-professionals (para-pros) to the spring intersession program. A motion to approve the study-session items carried 5-0.
