Commissioner DiBella asked whether any building systems would be water‑dependent while the EOC was vacant; Walls said only a possible ice maker might require water. The that‑was‑the‑extent response indicates the county does not anticipate major continuous water needs during vacancy.
The project is moving into requisition and procurement steps; Walls will attend the March 4 requisition meeting and report progress to the commissioners as procurement advances.
