During public comment at the June 16 meeting, resident Jim Wing asked the commission to disregard an earlier email about installing signs and instead urged neighbors to participate in the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) public‑comment period for the Redwood Grove Holly House proposal.
“For the record, I’m Jim Wing,” he told commissioners before describing recent enforcement and site changes. Wing said police patrols had begun after a city manager direction and that the jump‑bike area had been leveled; he reported that since patrols began he had not observed fights in the area.
Wing also reminded residents that CEQA public comments must be submitted in writing and physically delivered to city hall for an official receipt stamp, and he gave the meeting deadline as July 27. He encouraged neighbors to read the environmental document online and to submit comments during the 45‑day public‑comment window.
Commissioners acknowledged the update; staff did not present additional enforcement data during the meeting. The commission did not take action on the matter during the session but accepted the public comment.
