Holland said the engineering capital estimate had been $195,000 but the vendor quote was $200,000; the board approved a motion not to exceed $200,000 and directed staff to file the sole-source justification letter. "Since it was built, it's never been replaced. So, 1990," Holland said, explaining the need to replace aging equipment.
The board also approved the low bid for the CIP lining project after engineering review of the specifications.
