The Marlborough Conservation Commission on March 2 tabled Application #02-26, a proposed timber harvest at 162 Papermill Road, to the commission’s April 6, 2026 meeting.
Peter Hughes summarized the application, saying the property was last logged about 10 years ago and that the proposed logging would occur generally along the same trail used previously. Commissioners asked the applicant to provide an updated map that clearly shows the areas planned for cutting.
Commissioner Martha Smigel moved to table the timber-harvest application; Manny Hatzikostas seconded. The minutes record that the motion passed with all in favor.
No final approvals or conditions were adopted on March 2; the commission deferred further consideration until the applicant supplies the requested map and the item returns to the April 6 agenda.
