The Marlborough Conservation Commission on March 2 tabled consideration of Application #01-26, a proposal to build a single-family house at 382 Jones Hollow Road, until the commission’s next meeting on April 6, 2026.
Peter Hughes, Marlborough’s Director of Planning & Development, presented drawings for the project and said the design calls for a septic system in the front yard and a well in the rear; testing for the well is ongoing. Commissioners asked that the property owner stake the corners of the proposed building site so the commission can better assess impacts within the 200-foot upland review area.
Commissioner Manny Hatzikostas moved to table the application; Shana McDermott seconded. “All in favor,” the minutes record, and the motion passed.
The commission did not vote on the merits of the proposal at the March 2 meeting and listed the application on the agenda for April 6, 2026. The applicant and owner were recorded in the file as Mark Friend (applicant) and Jones Hollow Associates, LLC (owner).
