Orrville council approves March 31 fund-balance report and routine minutes
Summary
At its May 4 meeting the Orrville City Council approved the April 20 minutes and accepted the fund-balance report ending March 31, 2026 (subject to audit); motions to approve and to adjourn were moved and seconded and carried by voice vote.
The Orrville City Council on May 4 approved routine procedural items including minutes from its April 20 meeting and a Fund Balance report for the period ending March 31, 2026.
Finance Director Janet Strimlan told the council that the "1st qtr. investment reports were distributed. No action necessary. The Fund Balance report ending March 31, 2026, was also distributed and requested approval subject to audit." Council member Carr moved to approve the Fund Balance report; Lax seconded and the motion was approved by vote.
Earlier in the meeting Council member Lax moved to approve the minutes of the April 20 regular meeting; Carr seconded and the minutes were approved. At the end of the session Carr moved to adjourn; Davies seconded and the council approved the motion. The meeting adjourned at 8:03 p.m.
The council set its next regular meeting for Monday, May 18 at 7:30 p.m.
