Franklin County authorizes Dominion voting contract and allows National Grid to seek zoning change for Malone MGP remediation

Resolution No. 15 authorized the County Manager, subject to County Attorney review, to enter into contracts with Dominion Voting Systems Corporation for purchase of voting system services, software licenses and related services to update the county's voting systems. The resolution does not specify contract value or implementation timeline; the County Manager and County Attorney were directed to complete terms and conditions in the agreements.
Resolution No. 18 authorized the County Manager to execute a letter of authorization permitting National Grid to apply, on behalf of Franklin County, for a zoning modification for County-owned property on Amsden Street (Tax Map #112.24-5-7) at the Malone MGP remediation site. The property is currently zoned Residential-Limited Business; National Grid seeks a change to Commercial Industrial to permit completion of environmental remediation required by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. The County Attorney reviewed the sample letter from National Grid, per the transcript.
