The board designated certain items as sole-source where statutory criteria applied and approved the renewal of multiple previously bid IFBs/RFPs for services including architecture, audit, and waste management for the 2026–27 year.
Board members said the marquee conversion responds to recurring failures and high repair costs for digitized signs, and they emphasized the benefit to visitors and campus identity. The construction GMPs were presented as an extension of bond projects highlighted earlier in the meeting.
