Wymore Council approves claims, administrative forms and Resolution 2025-05; several items tabled

Wymore, Neb. — The Wymore City Council on Nov. 5 approved routine business, handled administrative items and passed a certification resolution required by the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
The council approved the prior meeting’s minutes and approved payroll and claims with the exception of four checks (30495, 30500, 30503 and 30538) initially withheld for separate action. Subsequent roll-call motions approved checks 30495 and 30538 (motion carried 3–0 with Max Allen abstaining), approved check 30500 (3–0 with Neil Van Boening abstaining), and approved check 30503 (3–0 with Curt Oblinger abstaining). The meeting record notes the individual abstentions for each check.
Council authorized Mayor Collin Meints to sign an ACH form to be submitted to the Gage County Treasurer; the motion carried 4–0. The council voted 4–0 to table discussion on recodification of the City of Wymore Municipal Code and to table Community Center grants, deferring both items to a future agenda.
The council passed Resolution No. 2025-05 (4–0), authorizing the mayor to sign the Year-End Certification of City Street Superintendent form required by NDOT and citing Nebraska statutes related to municipal qualification for incentive payments. The resolution requires the city to include documentation of the superintendent appointment when submitting the certification to NDOT.
