Nick reported the district met standards across the California 'Williams' requirements (88.7% highly qualified teachers; 100% compliant instructional materials and facilities). He highlighted increased family engagement—95.5% of families say communication is easy to access and 92% are satisfied with school offerings—and gains in student outcomes: 15.5% of graduates are now CTE completers (up from about half that two years ago) and AP exam pass rates increased by 13.4 percentage points. The district also reported 71.9% of students with disabilities are spending 80% or more of their time in general education (state standard 67%).
A trustee suggested the district should monitor public‑facing ratings such as GreatSchools.org because those ratings affect housing and community perceptions; the board discussed measuring the data sources behind those third‑party ratings in future work. With no substantive public comments filed during the LCAP viewing period, staff said the county review returned no recommendations. Trustees voted to approve the 2026–27 LCAP by voice vote.
