The Washington County Board of Supervisors approved a package of resolutions (Nos. 154–171) during its regular meeting. The actions included authorization for the county to sign a contract with Albany Medical Center (Res. 154); awarding engineering services for Sewer District No. 2 (Res. 155); purchasing two brine tanks via Sourcewell (Res. 156); setting a public hearing on Adirondack Community College’s 2026–2027 budget (Res. 157); amendments to the DPW road fund staffing plan (Res. 158); acceptance of a New York State Department of Environmental Conservation water-quality improvement grant and creation of a capital project (Res. 159); Sheriff’s Office budget amendments related to canal and Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grants (Res. 160–161); and multiple public-health, district-attorney and sewer-district budget amendments and capital-project authorizations (Res. 162–165).
The board also approved a county pay-rate update for special patrol officers (Res. 166) and authorized outside counsel funding for the County Attorney (Res. 167). The board ratified a collective-bargaining agreement with Teamsters Local 294 covering Public Works Highway Division employees for 2026–2028 (Res. 168) and ratified an agreement with the Washington County Deputy Sheriffs Association for 2026–2028 (Res. 169). The Treasurer was authorized to sign EFC documents for a process control and administration building EFC project (Res. 170), and the 2025 budget was amended for several departments (Res. 171).
Most items passed by voice vote with the motion, second and the board answering “Aye” and the chair declaring the measure carried. Several labor and pay-rate resolutions were decided by roll call; for some items the transcript records the outcome with the tally "4,302 yes, 388 absent" as read aloud by the clerk. Where individual roll-call votes were read, the transcript records multiple supervisors answering "Yes."
