Lower Pottsgrove board reviews donated Sanatoga Park dugout sketches, raises design concerns

Board member Bob Van Bramer called the sketches "very Bare Boned" and questioned why only one dugout would be provided and whether the 20-foot structure shown would interfere with the nearby walking path. "This was the university's improvement, regardless of how it looks it is a improvement that we are not paying for," Van Bramer said, and he and other members agreed to offer feedback as long as the structure would not obstruct the walkway.
Tyler Tyson asked whether an existing bench would serve as a substitute where the dugout would be placed; members noted there is no bench at the precise location and that space is limited because the path turns into a hill. Cronrath said she would bring the board's feedback to the township and the university for possible revisions.
The discussion did not result in a formal vote recorded in the minutes; members expressed appreciation for the donated improvement while reserving the right to request design changes to avoid obstructing park circulation.
