The Borough of North Haledon council deviated from its regular agenda Dec. 13 so Councilwoman Donna Puglisi could present certificates of achievement to members of the 3rd- and 4th-grade girls soccer team.
Puglisi moved to deviate from the order of business, seconded by Council Member George Pomianek; the motion passed on roll call. Team manager Jaclyn Ninos made a brief statement recorded as attached to the minutes; the minutes list the players who received certificates and note one absence due to illness.
Council Member Bruce O. Iacobelli moved to open the floor to public comments, seconded by Council Member Puglisi; no members of the public spoke, and the council then voted to close the public-comment period. The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn by Iacobelli, seconded by Puglisi, which the council approved by roll call; Mayor Randy George declared the meeting adjourned at 8:31 p.m.
Items listed on the consent agenda and ordinances for second reading were placed on the agenda for adoption or future action; the work-session transcript does not record recorded vote tallies on those agenda items during this session.
