At its June 25 regular meeting, the River Ridge Community Development District voted to amend the Series 2024 Note loan agreement and approved a contractor estimate for drainage work.
District Manager Chuck Adams presented Resolution 2024‑05, which authorizes an amendment to the use of proceeds of the District's Improvement Revenue Note, Series 2024, and permits the District to enter into a first amendment to the loan agreement with Synovus Bank. On a motion by Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Supervisor Terry Mountford, the board adopted Resolution 2024‑05 unanimously.
The board also considered MRI Construction, Inc.'s estimate to perform dry retention flow‑way ditch cleaning adjacent to River Course Holes #6 through #8 in the amount of $173,367.78. After discussion of scope, debris removal, and funding, a motion by Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Supervisor Robert Twombly, carried with all in favor to approve the MRI estimate for $173,367.78.
Separately, the board discussed McCullers Construction Services & Consulting, LLC's revised estimate of $277,550 to install a new irrigation well; the item was discussed but the board took no action and will revisit it in the future. The meeting record does not show a vote tally by individual board member name for the two recorded motions beyond the motion/second and the note that each passed with all in favor.
The board's formal actions will allow staff to proceed with contract administration and to implement the approved ditch‑cleaning work as detailed in MRI's estimate; any related budget changes will be processed through the district's normal procedures and will be reflected in future financial reports.
