Commissioners asked whether the Town Council could clarify who would be responsible for maintaining the project after the developer’s 10‑year agreement ends. Staff said the Planning Commission’s role in the 824 municipal review is to assess consistency with the plan of conservation and development; specific lease provisions and long‑term maintenance responsibilities are questions for the Town Council to address with the applicant.
A motion to recommend approval, with a request that the council consider post‑10‑year maintenance responsibilities, was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
