The Town of Parker council approved a transfer of a liquor license to Marcelino Sanchez, owner of the Butcher Steakhouse at 621 Riverside Drive, during a public hearing held at the council's regular meeting.
Council opened the public hearing and invited comment; no members of the public offered input. Council members spoke favorably of the new restaurant and the item was placed on and approved within the consent agenda.
Marcelino Sanchez attended the hearing as the applicant. Council had no substantive objections and a motion to approve the consent items, which included the liquor-license transfer, passed. The council then closed the public hearing and continued with the regular meeting.
The transfer clears the way for the Butcher Steakhouse to operate with the town's liquor license at the Riverside Drive address. The consent agenda also approved March 3, 2026 minutes and a street-closure request for the town's April 4 Easter event.
