Members discussed getting the latest ordinance printouts (the versions on the town website were identified as the most current) and suggested staff or the town office provide updated copies if requested.
The committee agreed to aim to discuss Article 5 before the next substantive meeting cycle (target months: July–August) and to use a shared method for collecting comments (members will mark confusing language and bring “stars” or notes to the next meeting). The committee noted that past pier/pier-revision work was updated in recent years and stressed coordination with the planning department where harbor policies intersect broader zoning or development issues.
No ordinance amendments were approved at the June 16 meeting; the assignment is preparatory review and comment.
