The board requested the job posting and second reading be adjusted to specify that the position is contingent on continuing grant or donor funding and that the position will be term‑limited accordingly.
Board discussion also clarified the pay range for Grade 30 (roughly $64,784.80 to $93,586.40) and that a probable fully loaded package the district and foundation had discussed would be around $77,000. Ms. Terry and foundation representatives said typical agreements place grant‑funded positions on a year‑to‑year basis and applicants are informed up front that the role depends on ongoing funding.
The board approved the first reading 5‑0, with a consensus to bring back a revised job description for a second reading that explicitly states the funding and term limitations.
