The Broken Bow City Council unanimously approved a Conditional Use Permit for Broken M Sales and Service, LLC to sell trucks from a lot at 660 Kiowa Lane.
Councilmember Chris Myers moved to open a public hearing at 6:20 p.m.; Paul Holland seconded and the motion carried. Zoning Administrator Jacob Holcomb told the council a Conditional Use Permit is required for vehicle sales at that location and that the Planning Commission had approved and recommended the permit. The hearing was closed at 6:23 p.m., and the council then voted to approve the permit (moved by Myers; seconded by Russ Smith). The recorded roll call showed Myers, Smith and Holland voting aye; there were no nays.
The permit allows the commercial sale of trucks from the specified lot; the Planning Commission recommendation and the council’s 3–0 vote complete the local approval recorded in the June 13 minutes. The council did not record any conditions or a separate motion to amend the permit in the meeting minutes.
