Staff report and applicant statement: Planning staff member Will said the applicant had received a temporary authorization in October 2024 but exceeded the original one-year period and initially failed to secure required building permits. Staff reported the applicant later met with staff, obtained the building permit and submitted a land-disturbance permit application. Applicant Fortino Gutierrez told the commission he is awaiting contact from the erosion-control contractor and has submitted the necessary permits.
Commission action: A commissioner moved to approve the renewal with the clear condition it is valid for one year only and cannot be renewed; the motion carried by voice/hand-raise vote.
