RSU 23 board approves staff job descriptions, superintendent contract and two policies

At the Feb. 16 meeting the RSU 23 board unanimously approved instructional and non-instructional support staff job descriptions, ratified the superintendent's contract, and adopted policies IJOC (School Volunteers) and DKC (Expense Authorization and Reimbursement).
The RSU 23 board voted unanimously on several personnel and policy items at its Feb. 16 meeting.
On a motion by Stuart (Stu) Hogan, seconded by Michelle Violette, the board approved the instructional and non-instructional support staff job descriptions as written. The same motioners also moved and seconded approval of the superintendent's contract; the board voted unanimously to adopt the contract as written.
Michelle Violette moved and Carol Marcotte seconded a motion to accept policies IJOC (School Volunteers) and DKC (Expense Authorization and Reimbursement); that motion passed unanimously. No amendments or conditions were recorded in the minutes. The board then moved on to committee reports and other agenda items.
