RSU 23 accepts multiple retirements, a resignation and approves probationary and continuing teachers

The RSU 23 board accepted retirement letters from six teachers and approved a resignation and multiple teacher appointments at its April 7 meeting.
Superintendent Lloyd Crocker presented retirement letters for Ron Regula, Jeannine Bartlett, Jane Kerry, Piper Bolduc, Michael Angelosante and Peter Barricelli; the board voted unanimously to accept the retirements on a motion from Stuart Hogan. The board also unanimously accepted the resignation of Susan Sinott Curran (Jameson School) on a motion by Peter Flaherty.
On personnel appointments, the board unanimously approved lists of Probationary II teachers (including Angela Lotfey, Bethany Rocheleau, Jennifer MacDonald, Mackenzie Holland and others), Probationary III teachers (including Jennifer Drapeau, Erin Coffey, Tracy McLaughlin and others) and Continuing teachers (including Cynthia Nye, Trevor Lavenbein, William Corcoran and Michael Davis). The board additionally completed first readings of policies ADA, ADAA and DJH and approved the second reading and adoption of regulation JHIC-R related to the district's drug and alcohol policy.
The board scheduled recognition of retiring teachers at its May meeting and noted other routine committee and facilities reports during the session.
