The commissioners accepted bids and proposals: Zabel’s Restaurant and Supply for stainless kitchen units for the Emergency Management Agency ($1,704.80), Bearded Brothers Moving Group for EMA relocation services ($2,800), and Hudson Communications for technology relocation and an IP camera system for the EMA move ($53,720.04). The board awarded the 2026 Road Improvement Program contract for county resurfacing work to RT Vernal Paving & Excavating Inc. for $937,519 covering specified segments in Hubbard and Howland townships.
Other approved items included establishing Land Use Grant Fund No. 149 for the Planning Commission’s comprehensive land-use project (OD Ag-funded), authorizing advertising of bid documents for the Donley Road Street Improvements (2025 CDBG), approving a $13,200 accounting services agreement with Hill, Barth & King LLC for Planning Commission grant administration, and authorizing a settlement distribution related to the AFFF MDL 2873 litigation (Trumbull County’s BASF distribution, $966.46).

The board also authorized a time extension (through Aug. 31, 2026) for Daniel A.
