Council appoints two board members and completes second reading of annexation ordinance

The City of York council on May 1 appointed Angie Kroger to the Board of Adjustment for a term ending Sept. 1, 2026, and Nathan Goss to the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board for a term ending Jan. 1, 2028. The appointments were moved, seconded and approved by recorded vote.
Later in the meeting the council read Ordinance No. 2389 for its second reading concerning the annexation of land described in the southeast quarter of the referenced parcel connected to a new housing development. The ordinance had been read once previously; with no members of the public appearing to comment, the council considered the item its second reading.
