Committees for logistics, volunteer coordination, security and lodging are in place, and an audience member offered private property across from the fire hall for bus parking.
Councilmember Christopher Dean moved to approve use of the ball fields and community building and the motion passed with unanimous support among members present. Council and organizers discussed potential needs including additional parking, ADA access (golf carts offered for handicapped assistance), temporary lighting upgrades at the football field, and coordination with local businesses for lodging and services.
