Council reviews parks rules update and unanimously approves Farmers Market use agreement

Council discussed recommended edits to the proposed code changes but did not adopt the ordinance; staff will return the item to a future meeting for formal action.
Separately, council considered Resolution No. R-25-1960, authorizing the City Manager to execute a Use Agreement with the Maple Valley Farmers Market. Councilmember Les Burberry moved approval; Councilmember Victoria Schroff seconded and the resolution passed unanimously, 6-0.
Council did not record any dissent on the Farmers Market agreement. The parks code update will be revised per Council recommendations and reintroduced for adoption at a subsequent meeting.
