The Board of Education of Warren Township High School District 121 approved two action items on June 16: a resolution authorizing permanent interfund transfers for capital projects in the amount of $3,000,000, and the award of a bid to replace the Alman campus chiller.
A board member moved and a second was recorded for each action. The interfund-transfer resolution passed on a roll-call vote with every member voting yes (recorded votes included Squires, Jamante, Anderson, Carlson, Fields and Pope). The chiller replacement bid likewise passed on a unanimous roll-call vote; trustees characterized the chiller replacement as a straightforward, necessary capital-maintenance project.
Board members thanked staff for managing capital planning and noted the district will continue budget oversight as the projects proceed. No additional contract amounts or vendor names were stated on the record beyond the award motion; administration did not raise substantive concerns during brief discussion.
