Madam Clerk told the council that "the unofficial results have been distributed to the Reno City Council from the Washoe County Registrar of Voters" and reported that "there were no errors and no discrepancies to be noted." Council members asked where the results would be available; the clerk said the returns are attached to the Council agenda now, will be posted to the City Clerk's website after the meeting once formalized, and will be sent to the Secretary of State. The clerk also said unofficial returns are viewable on the Washoe County Registrar of Voters website.
A motion to approve the agenda was made and seconded and passed unanimously. Later, a motion to certify the returns (agenda item B1) was made and seconded; the council voted unanimously to certify the primary results. The meeting record shows no registered public comment during the session. The special meeting concluded after a motion to adjourn carried unanimously.
The City will post the officially certified results to the City Clerk's website and transmit them to the Secretary of State as part of the canvass process. No further action was recorded at the meeting.
