The Irondequoit Town Board held a public hearing June 16 and approved a resolution to extend the consolidated sewer district to include 628 Seneca Road.
Commissioner McGee explained the hearing’s purpose was to gather public comment on adding the property to the town’s sewer district. Dan and Margaret Keep, homeowners at 628 Seneca Road, told the board they look forward to “getting into the sewer and out of the septic.”
After closing the hearing, the board adopted Resolution PH2026-01 by motion and voice vote; the motion carried. No speakers opposed the extension during the hearing.
The resolution will allow the property to be connected to town sewer infrastructure; no financing plan or construction timetable was recorded during the meeting.
