Parent and union leader urge Francis Howell board to inform community about Amendment 5's possible effects

Francine Hill, identified as FHA president, echoed the appeal and urged trustees and the public to learn about the proposed change. Both speakers framed their comments as requests for factual education (not advocacy) and noted the compressed summer timeframe for communicating to families.
Board members indicated they understood the request and administration said the district can post plain-language factual explanations on its website (subject to statutory limits on ballot language and advocacy). The board did not adopt a formal resolution against the amendment during the meeting.
