The Ringgold County Board of Supervisors on June 15 approved a revised safety manual and approved renewal of the county's liability insurance with ICAP.
Supervisor Steve Knapp moved to approve the revised safety manual and Supervisor Randy Taytor seconded; the board approved the action unanimously under Resolution RC26-98, attested by Amanda Waske, Ringgold County Auditor.
Lois Ibbotson of First Main Street Insurance met with the board to review the county's liability insurance policy with the Iowa Communities Assurance Pool (ICAP) set to renew July 1. Supervisor Randy Taytor moved to approve the insurance renewal, Supervisor Steve Knapp seconded, and the board adopted Resolution RC26-99 unanimously.
The board also moved to approve the minutes (motion by Supervisor Steve Knapp, second by Supervisor Randy Taytor) and then adjourned the meeting.
The minutes do not record debate or amendments to the safety manual or insurance renewal; both actions were approved by unanimous vote.
