The McCone County Board of Commissioners approved multiple financial and grant-related items at its June 8 session, including a CDBG draw and county claim authorization.
The board approved a Community Development Block Grant draw of $83,180 for the Cone County Health Center improvement project after a motion by Commissioner Jetson and a second from Commissioner Taylor; the motion passed three to zero. The board also considered and approved a CDBG contract amendment that requires additional signatures and recorded that some amendments remain to be finalized before final disbursement.
County claims for May were reviewed and voucher number 1047 was signed in the amount of $168,839.66. The clerk and commissioners discussed timing and paperwork for reimbursements and noted some contract amendments still needed signatures from staff members (Tori and Sherry were noted as signatories to complete paperwork).
Separately, the board approved a transfer of 2023 entitlement paperwork that the minutes show had been approved previously; commissioners re-approved the transfer to ensure the record is complete.
No controversial dissent was recorded on the financial items; the board tabled an immunization program task order for attorney review and instructed staff to follow up on outstanding signatures and paperwork.
