Council approves $92,450 award for Minaka Park resilient-surface installation

The Waukesha City Common Council unanimously approved a contract award recommendation from the Board of Public Works for a resilience-surface installation at Minaka Park.
Alex, representing the Board of Public Works, said the board recommended the low alternate bid from Blue Mills in the amount of $92,450. "The Board of Public Works recommended that the low bid from Blue Mills for the alternate bid, in the amount of $92,450, be awarded," Alex said. A motion to accept the award was made, seconded and passed without objection.
Alex also noted that the city garage had installed stop signs at Sunset and Guthrie and shared photos for city social media. The council approved the Park bid and encouraged staff to proceed with contract finalization.
