The Board of Selectmen has appointed five standing members to the Marlborough Elementary School Building Committee, Superintendent Dr. Holly Hageman reported at the Board of Education meeting Thursday.
Dr. Hageman said the standing members are William Guzman, Amy Kuhrt, Kelly Oren, Russell Salvador and Derek Bride. Two alternates — Roark McCutcheon and Patricia Fitton — were named, and one alternate position remains open. The appointments were reported as part of the MES facilities project update.
Dr. Hageman also reminded the board and the public about a Town Meeting on April 1 at 7:00 p.m. in the MES cafeteria, where voters will consider reallocating MES Roof Reserve Funds to the MES Egress Project.
No formal board action on the building committee appointments is recorded in the minutes; the minutes reflect the Board of Selectmen made the appointments and the board received the update.
