Verona Area School District board approves SRO contract extension; city vote still required

Board members noted the contract requires approval from both the district and the city; Chad and others said the city council's vote was expected the following Monday. District staff said the annual approvals by both organizations are required for the contract to take effect, with an anticipated implementation date of July 1 if both entities approve.
