The board described the pilot as limited: the Grand Oaks feeder will be the initial pilot site, and trustees encouraged staff to consider accelerating rollout for additional campuses only if implementation goes well and demand supports it.
Board members cautioned against moving too quickly. "The worst thing that could happen is that we go too big too quickly and we don't implement it well," one board member said.
Next steps: staff will pilot ParentSquare at the selected feeder, evaluate implementation and demand, and report back to the board before any wider rollout.
