The Clark County Board of Education authorized staff to move forward with preparations to sell the district’s central office property.
Lyall Adams of Adams Real Estate Service presented a letter of interest and described a marketing plan that begins with local exposure, professional photography and aerial images and then expands to national buyer networks. Adams said he lists commercial properties at a 3% commission and recommended a year-long listing period to properly market a property of this size. The board authorized district staff (Mr. Howard and Mr. Watkins) to prepare a formal listing agreement with Adams Real Estate Service for presentation and approval at an upcoming meeting.
Board members voted unanimously to accept the letter of interest and authorize drafting the listing agreement; the actual listing agreement will return to the board for final approval.
