The Franklin County Legislature adopted Resolution No. 152 to accept a Summer Youth Employment allocation totaling $102,742 for June 1–Sept 30, 2016. The Commissioner of Social Services reported the funding is 100% reimbursable. The County will retain $77,742 for participant wages and fringe benefits and contract $25,000 to Catholic Charities of Franklin County (CCFC) to administer the program, called 'Project SEEK' (Summer Employment Experience for Kids). The 2016 budget was amended to reflect appropriations and revenue recognition for the grant. The motion was made by Legislator Crossman, seconded by Legislator Dabiew, and passed unanimously.
