Wymore council approves minutes, payroll and individual checks

The Wymore City Council approved minutes from its Sept. 18 meeting and the Sept. 18 budget hearing and carried a set of motions to approve claims and payroll during its Oct. 2 meeting.
The council initially approved claims and payroll except for checks #28904, #28909 and #28913, then voted separately to approve each of those checks. The motion to approve check #28909 passed 3-0 with Council member Neil Van Boening recorded as abstaining and Mayor Collin Meints casting Max Allen’s vote. Similarly, the motion to approve check #28913 passed 3-0 with Curt Oblinger recorded as abstaining and Mayor Meints voting in Max Allen’s absence.
The approvals were routine and carried by roll motions. No ordinances or resolutions were passed during these agenda items. The meeting record shows the council handled the financial housekeeping before moving on to other business and adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
