"On June 9th, Auburn voters approved the school budget by a vote of 3,196 to 1,279," Doris said, noting the result represented "nearly 72% of the voters supporting the budget." She thanked staff, administrators at Auburn Hall, the school committee, the city council and the Auburn community for supporting education.
Doris also noted the academic calendar wrap‑up: June 15 was the last day of school for students and June 16 marked the final workday for staff. Committee members offered congratulations and no formal action was required on the report.
