North Haledon council appoints Richard J. Giannetti as probationary police officer

Police Commissioner Councilwoman Donna Puglisi administered the oath of office. The meeting opened and closed a public-comment period; no members of the public spoke.
The appointment is a personnel action under the borough's salary ordinance for 2021; the resolution specifies pay "in accordance with Salary Ordinance 2021." The municipal clerk recorded the action in the meeting minutes.
The council moved on to other agenda items after confirming the appointment and completing the oath.
