North Haledon council approves consent agenda: appointments, library payments and longtime zoning-board resignation

The council also authorized a job posting for Superintendent of Public Works and accepted the resignation of George Van Dyk from the Zoning Board of Adjustment, noting his long service; council members publicly thanked him for his contributions.
The council approved LOSAP payments totaling $14,950 to individual volunteers per an audit and adopted a temporary capital budget scheduling the 2021 capital projects (total estimated cost $2,283,575) for inclusion in the permanent capital budget. The municipal chief financial officer certified that sufficient funds were available for the LOSAP payments.
