The River Ridge Community Development District Board of Supervisors adopted its fiscal year 2024/2025 budget on Aug. 27, 2024, approving Resolution 2024-07 after amending clerical errors in the document.
District Manager Chuck Adams told the Board the budget posted with the agenda contained errors; Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal flagged a scrivener error in the “Street sweeping” description and the Board agreed to correct it before adopting the budget. The Board opened the required public hearing, received no comment from affected property owners and, on a motion by Mr. Blumenthal seconded by Mr. Twombly, adopted the amended budget with all in favor.
The action formalizes the District’s appropriations for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2024 and ending Sept. 30, 2025. The adopted resolution authorizes budget amendments consistent with the procedures laid out in the measure. No changes to service levels or assessments were recorded during the public hearing.
The Board’s vote followed routine review by staff and counsel; attendees were told the corrected budget will replace the version included in the meeting packet. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Sept. 4, 2024, when staff will continue routine financial reporting.
