The River Ridge Community Development District on June 25 adopted Resolution 2024‑05 to amend the use of proceeds of its Improvement Revenue Note, Series 2024, and authorized a first amendment to the loan agreement with Synovus Bank.
On a motion by Supervisor Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Vice Chair Terry Mountford, the resolution was adopted “with all in favor.” Immediately following that vote, the Board approved an MRI Construction, Inc. estimate of $173,367.78 to clean the dry retention flow‑way ditch adjacent to River Course holes #6 through #8; that motion also passed unanimously.
District Manager Chuck Adams said loan proceeds will cover the drainage projects that are part of the original scope and that staff included the irrigation project with a 10 percent contingency. Earlier in the meeting staff and Eric Long (PSGRC) discussed a separate revised estimate from McCullers Construction Services of $277,550 to install a new well; that item was discussed and will be reconsidered in the future, and no action was taken on the well estimate.
District counsel reported an opinion letter had been drafted in support of the Resolution, and the district engineer said drainage easements needed for portions of the improvements (behind the Masters, Golf & River Club and from Seaside II) are in preparation and will be forwarded for legal review.
The votes on both the resolution and the MRI estimate were recorded as unanimous in favor; no roll‑call tallies were recorded in the minutes. The board accepted the financing amendment and authorized the contractor estimate to proceed to contract stage subject to normal procurement and legal steps.
